Been a busy couple of weeks… Lots of girl heads, keep ‘em coming! Here are some of the highlights:
On Alana, (one of my regular ladies) a portrait of her grandma.
Markella came in wanting to get a reproduction of a Sylvia Ji painting, but was open to me putting my own spin on it. Sometimes paintings aren’t conducive to tattooing, and I’m happy to have found such a trusting client.
All I can say is that I had a $%(! load of fun doing this tattoo. Thanks Caleb!
I know it’s been ages since my last post….I’ve been out in the world enjoying my summer! With the warm weather comes lots of (mostly unwanted) attention directed at my tattoos. Fortunately it’s usually positive comments. And even though I get sick of fielding questions, I understand the intrigue.
Usually it’s the generic “nice tats”, or “sick ink” (hahahahaha!) but lately I’ve been hearing “nice tags”. Not sure if it’s some new shit that I’m just not cool enough to get, or if something has been lost in translation… I just don’t have my finger on the pulse like I used to. It only takes one person to mishear something and it’s spreads like wild fire! I bet that someone on this season of the Jersey Shore will accidentally say tags instead of tats and it will become a part of our daily lexicon. You heard it here first.

I posted this today because I really want a kitten, but my girlfriend wont let me. WTF? Who’s wearing the pants here anyways? Let me do your pet portrait! I love doing them and maybe it’ll help me get over my kitten woes.
